Swordsmith Villa
Where the finest blades in the realm are born — founded by the legendary swordsmith Ou Yezi himself.
NeutralRival: Lion Face SectSword / Blade / Polearm / Ranged
Swordsmith Villa sits at Zhanlu Mountain, said to have been founded by Ou Yezi, the legendary father of swordsmithing. Its lineage runs deep — most of the finest weapons in the world are said to trace their origin here, earning the sect deep admiration throughout the martial world. Based in the Fujian–Zhanlu Mountain region, its arts run on the Pure Yang elemental attribute.
Swordsmith Villa is politically Neutral, opposed to Lion Face Sect, and its members lean toward the Neutral/Moderate stance.
Sect Philosophy
Its arts span sword, blade, polearm (staff), and mechanism-based ranged techniques — passed down from Ou Yezi’s own sword-testing methods, renowned across the realm for their craftsmanship, and devastating when paired with a masterwork weapon. Swordsmith Villa techniques are built on the principle that a weapon’s quality is everything: when breaking through a Swordsmith Villa technique, you can substitute whichever is highest among Smithing, Woodworking, Weaving, or Craftsmanship for other, lower aptitude requirements. Swordsmith Villa members can be asked to tutor Smithing, Woodworking, Weaving, and Craftsmanship.

Regional Story: “Bronze Life, Trial by Sword”
“Every legendary blade under heaven comes from Zhanlu — swordsmiths of every age have made their pilgrimage here.” Swordsmith Villa is renowned for its craft, and Ou Yezi’s own sword-testing legacy has echoed through a hundred generations.
Yet fire does not burn forever, and fortunes rise and fall. Lately, rumors have spread through the martial world claiming Swordsmith Villa is struggling financially, teetering on the edge, unable to reclaim its former glory…

Signature Mechanic: Mystic Pivot Forging
Completing “Bronze Life, Trial by Sword” grants you a unique mechanism companion: Bronze Life (Tongsheng), who grows through a distinct system and can join battle with special commands.
Raising Bronze Life
From Bronze Life’s character screen, choose “Interact → Growth” to develop them along six tracks:
| Track | How to raise it |
|---|---|
| Stats | Feed materials to raise core stats — different material types boost different stats: Metal → Strength, Fabric → Agility, Medicinal herbs → Willpower, Food → Physique, Wood → Constitution, Jade/Stone → Comprehension. Higher-grade materials give more progress. |
| Traits | Feed weapons, armor, or treasures to build “trait potential.” At 100% potential, Bronze Life gains 1 trait point — each month, it uses trait points to mimic positive traits from nearby characters, gaining new ones or strengthening existing ones. |
| Purity | Consume refined materials to raise Bronze Life’s Purity tier. |
| Internal Power | Consume Blood Dew to build internal power and Qi. At 100% Qi progress, Bronze Life earns 1 Qi point, freely assignable (max 50 per Qi type). |
| Five Elements | Set Bronze Life’s internal-power element freely, to any of the five. |
| Techniques | Feed skill/technique books to advance Bronze Life’s study progress on all chapters of that book — completeness matters: a complete book gives +100% progress, a damaged one +40%, a nearly-lost one only +10%. A separate “Transmit Technique” option lets Bronze Life mimic your own breakthrough results (power ceiling and Original Insight effects) for any technique it has already fully studied. |
Bronze Life’s Battle Commands
Bronze Life fights as a companion with access to regular commands plus six exclusive ones: Array A, Array B, Array C, Unseal, Substitute, and Repair.
| Command | Role | Effect | Cooldown (progress) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Array A | Offense ×4 | Attacks once every 3 seconds for 30 seconds. | 72,000 |
| Array B | Defense ×4 | For 15s, Bronze Life intercepts breakthrough attacks aimed at the lead fighter with a protective technique. | 360,000 |
| Array C | Tactics ×4 | For 20s, locks the enemy out of using any Odd Technique that Bronze Life has already trained. | 720,000 |
| Unseal | Offense ×2 | Adds unsealing progress to the lead fighter’s current weapon. | 360,000 |
| Substitute | Defense ×4 | Absorbs a share of the lead fighter’s wounds, poison, and internal disorder. | 72,000 |
| Repair | Tactics ×2 | Restores durability to equipment used in the fight. | 36,000 |
Completing the sequel story grants a second mechanism companion (grown the same way), with a different command set — Array D, Array E, Array F, Unseal, Substitute, Repair — Array D boosts the lead fighter’s accuracy and mitigation, Array E clears all openings/seals and grants brief immunity, and Array F reduces cooldowns on every other companion’s commands.
