Attribute Traps

| Comprehension | Don’t zero it | Governs reading speed & breakthroughs — a constant activity all game |
| Woodworking | Zero it on purpose | Auto-corrects to 40–60 even at 0 — free points elsewhere |
| Main weapon aptitude | Zero it on purpose | Foster father sets it to 80 regardless of starting value |

Starting Region

Foster Father’s Dialogue

He’ll then offer a weapon technique — accepting sets that weapon’s aptitude to 80 directly on your base stats (this one inherits and passes via Sword Legacy, unlike trait bonuses below).
Traits — 7 Points to Spend
Spread across 7 different traits at Level 1 rather than maxing one — upgrade later at Jade-Maiden Peak.
