Sect Guide

Lion Face Sect

No scriptures, no theory — just iron flesh forged through decades of hard-body conditioning that turns blade and spear alike.

NeutralRival: Ranshan SectFist / Blade / Polearm

Lion Face Sect’s arts are brutally direct and domineering. The sect places little value on internal cultivation, favoring instead a form of hard-body conditioning so extreme it’s said to split gold and shatter stone, turning blade and spear alike — the absolute pinnacle of external martial arts. Based in the Guangdong–Lotus Mountain region, its arts run on the Vajra elemental attribute.

Lion Face Sect is politically Neutral, opposed to Ranshan Sect. Its members lean toward the Rebellious stance.

Sect Philosophy

Its arts span fist, blade, and spear — heavy, forceful, ferociously domineering, like uprooting mountains and hoisting cauldrons, advancing without hesitation, a force none dare stand against. Lion Face Sect’s martial arts were never meant to be written down: study from manuals is 50% slower than normal, but learning through actual combat is 500% faster (this modifier does not apply to a manual’s overall framework). Its arts require no aptitude at all to practice. Lion Face Sect members can be asked to tutor Smithing, Woodworking, Cooking, and Miscellaneous Knowledge.

Regional Story: “Both Scholar and Warrior”

“Banners dim under a heavy snowfall, drums clatter through the wind. Better to be a captain of a hundred men than a mere scholar.” Lion Face Sect was founded by the descendants of the legendary general Li Sheye, and its disciples have long shouldered the duty of protecting the land and its people — earning wide respect from commoners.

But lately, a mocking rumor has been spreading through Guangdong: that Lion Face Sect disciples can’t so much as read. Almost overnight, the sect’s reputation has taken a serious hit…

Signature Mechanic: Coordinated Command

Completing “Both Scholar and Warrior” unlocks Lion Face Sect’s centerpiece feature: sounding the sect’s War-Drum to rally your companions, upgrading their available battle commands to more powerful versions.

How it works

Activation: Interact with Lion Face Sect’s central sect building.
Cost: 5 Stamina per command upgraded, plus Prestige scaled to the specific command.
Effect: Choose one battle command a companion currently has and upgrade it to an advanced version. Each character can hold at most 1 advanced command — completing the sequel story raises this to 2.
