Sequel story

Unlocks if you hold the Sanguine Sect’s treasure, the Golden Hou Iron Tally. Completing it grants Mysterious Su Flute.

Signature Mechanic: Life & Death Positions

Unlocked after completing the regional story. Assign characters to 4 “Living” and 4 “Dying” slots (expandable to 8 each via the sequel story). Any adult character you know can be placed; characters with Purity 4+ higher than your own can’t be.

  • On month change, if a Living-slot character isn’t at full health, Dying-slot characters transfer their remaining health to them.
  • With at least 1 character in each slot, both groups gain elemental traits based on the combined Five Elements ratio of their internal power.
  • Removing a character (or their death/corruption) clears their trait.
Best for — support/healer-focused builds, or anyone running a large multi-generation household where keeping everyone topped up matters more than raw damage.
